Aren't languages funny?

Aren't languages just random sounds?

"Language is nothing but some random sounds that are made with the help of tongue and lips".

If we go to ancient times, to the time where the man lived under the shadows of mountains and trees, covering their body with leaves, as the present movies show, or probably not bothering the leaves. They would still communicate. Or if you don't wanna bother yourself, just look at the mammals, the birds, the fishes, how they communicate? Just some random and specific sounds. Because they know what those sounds mean. First, they assume that a specific sound means something and later they start believing.

Every time you listen to a new language, it seems like sounds that make no sense. But when you start learning and give it some time, you realize that those words totally make sense. Why is that so?

A person, saying that he has learnt a language, doesn't know that he has just learned some random sounds that he makes with his mouth. For example, the sentence "Da dado dada de" looks like a random typing of "D" & "A/E/O" but it means "He is his father" in the Pashto Language(spoken in Afghanistan & Pakistan). there are millions of examples like that in every language. But the only difference is that some sounds are more understood by the world than others.

Think about it, "Why does what I say makes sense?" "Do all the words that I say have real meanings?" "Is any random sound, I am making, a word of another language, ancient or future?" Just think.
